The Cypress Creek Bears will be home for the holidays to greet the Horizon Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Monday, Cypress Creek was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 54-50 to Edgewater.
Meanwhile, Horizon unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They took a 59-43 bruising from Central Florida Christian Academy.
Emma Andrulouis was Horizon's leading scorer, having posted no points.
Cypress Creek bumped their record down to 3-3 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Horizon, their loss dropped their record down to 5-2.
Cypress Creek took a serious blow against Horizon in their previous matchup back in December of 2021, falling 60-28. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Cypress Creek was down 39-13.
