One of the most notable came from Calix McCune, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Hicks, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 assists.
Meanwhile, Marianna had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.9 points), and they went ahead and made it 12 on Friday. They took down Rutherford 69-50. Given Marianna's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 52nd, while Rutherford is ranked 228th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rocky Bayou Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-11 record this season. As for Marianna, they pushed their record up to 23-2 with that victory, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season.
