Tahoma scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Kentridge Chargers by a score of 85-83. The Bears were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Tahoma's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Kentridge, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tahoma and Emerald Ridge will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kentridge will take on Enumclaw in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Enumclaw knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Kentridge likes a good challenge.
