Baseball Game Preview: Lubbock Christian Eagles vs. Midland Classical Academy Knights

Lubbock Christian is a perfect 4-0 against Midland Classical Academy since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Lubbock Christian Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Midland Classical Academy Knights at 3:30 p.m. Midland Classical Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lubbock Christian, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Lubbock Christian turned things around against Big Spring on Saturday. They came out on top against the Steers by a score of 6-3.

Meanwhile, Midland Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Midland Christian, falling 13-3.

Midland Classical Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kayson West, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Lubbock Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Midland Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.

Everything went Lubbock Christian's way against Midland Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in April of 2016, as Lubbock Christian made off with an 8-0 victory.
