Elizabeth came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Mitchell Marauders. The Cardinals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Tristan O'Neal was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Elizabeth got a massive performance out of Walker Blanchard, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Cade Taylor, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.

Elizabeth kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are a perfect 9-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Elizabeth's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Mitchell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Elizabeth will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Marauders: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
