Volleyball Recap: Robinson Starts Season with Win Against North Clay

Robinson had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the North Clay Cardinals 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Maroons also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Robinson who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 16-25, 25-12.

Riley Erton paced Robinson's offense, picking up eight kills. Erton got some help from Sicily Rawlings and her 11 assists. Grace Miller controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Robinson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against South Knox on the 28th. As for North Clay, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Cumberland on the 28th.
