The Rouse Raiders will head out to face off against the Lehman Lobos at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Rouse is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.3 runs per game this season.
Rouse will bounce into Monday's matchup after beating Fredericksburg, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Rouse was the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Fredericksburg on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.
Delaney Vannoy made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance gave her a new career-low in hits. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one home run.

In other batting news, Rouse let Ciana Arguijo and Madilynn George run wild. Arguijo went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI, while George fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 3-for-4. Those four runs gave Arguijo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eeva Chick, who scored two runs while going 3-for-4.
Rouse always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Lehman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against Liberty Hill, falling 10-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Lobos have suffered since February 14th.
Lehman saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Adame, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Lehman's loss dropped their record down to 7-9-1. As for Rouse, their record now sits at 9-7-2.
Lehman's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Rouse has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .456. It's a different story for Lehman, though, as they've only averaged .347. Will they be able to contain Rouse's hitters?
Everything went Rouse's way against Lehman when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Rouse made off with a 12-0 victory. Does Rouse have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lehman turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
