The Pleasant Grove Vikings will be playing at home against the Skyridge Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pleasant Grove is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
Pleasant Grove pushed their score all the way to 67 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Westlake by a score of 70-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (61), Pleasant Grove still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Skyridge suffered a rough 62-41 defeat at the hands of Lehi on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Skyridge has scored all season.
Despite their defeat, Skyridge saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Dane Housley, who scored six points along with five steals, was perhaps the best of all. Another player making a difference was Ryder Gentry, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Pleasant Grove dropped their record down to 11-10 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Skyridge, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
