After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Berlin Brothersvalley, Rockwood was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Fannett Metal 8-6. For the Rockets, this counts as revenge for the 8-3 win Fannett Metal walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.
Sydney Beals was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Beals was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.
