Cincinnati Hills recap September 24, 2013
Taylor added to the longest winning streak in Cincinnati Hills this week by beating Deer Park, 33-0. The victory was the fourth in a row for the team.
Indian Hill moved up to 500 from 630 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Braves were able to move up by defeating Mariemont 7-0.
Jacob Blair provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Reading defeated Finneytown. He completed 4 passes for 30 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 137 yards.
David Cowart was the best receiver in the league this week as the Warriors lost to Indian Hill. Cowart racked up 4 receptions for 84 yards.
Blair was the most successful running back in Cincinnati Hills this week. Teammate Chad Pinson added to the ground attack by rushing for 62 yards.
Luke Parker made the biggest impact on defense this week as Mariemont fell to Mike Theisen's team. The 5-foot-10 senior.
Nick Koehne put up the best numbers in passing as Taylor topped the Wildcats. He finished with a total of 4 completions for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Kurry Commins' team's Kane Coates and Cowart have proven to be a lethal combination. Coates has thrown for 660 yards this season, while Cowart, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 10 catches for 203 yards. Koty Kendall from Dave Huffman's team leads the league in rushing with 437 yards.
As it stands, the Blue Devils are in second, while Madeira is in third.
Wyoming took down the Mustangs 55-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
