If the Riverside Rebels were feeling good off their 66-45 takedown of the Dubois Rams last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Riverside fell 57-47 to Meeteetse on Saturday. Riverside has not had much luck with Meeteetse recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Meeteetse's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Max Potas led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Pina, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Meeteetse, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season.
Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Meeteetse, they will be playing at home against Non Varsity Opponent at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
