In what's become a running theme this season, the Tri-Cities Christian Eagles gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They blew past University 63-34 at home. The win was familiar territory for Tri-Cities Christian who now have seven in a row.
Tri-Cities Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Faith Greene led the charge by scoring 26 points along with three steals. Greene hasn't dropped below two steals for seven straight games. Another player making a difference was Michaela Dixon, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Tri-Cities Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. As for University, they are on a 16-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-18.
Tri-Cities Christian will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Middlesboro at 6:30 p.m. on February 23rd. University does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
