Adding to the longest winning streak in 2A/3A KingCo this week, Bellevue beat Mercer Island 49-7. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
Juanita took down Interlake 52-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Lake Washington's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nick Young threw for 132 and 1 touchdown and Josh Wikel had 70 yards receiving. On the ground Elliott Phillips chipped in 191 yards. Court Osborn helped Lake Washington's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 29 yards.
The Kangaroos' dynamic duo of Young and Wikel proved to be unstoppable against Sammamish, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Osborn helped Lake Washington's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 29 yards.
Phillips was a passing and rushing force as Lake Washington topped the Totems. Phillips' favorite target this week was Wikel, who caught 2 passes for 70 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, the Rebels' Tavin Montgomery and Landyn Milburn have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Montgomery has thrown for 1,595 yards this season, while Milburn has 45 catches for 776 yards. Phillips from Stephen Supple's team leads the league in rushing with 750 yards.
The Kangaroos made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,791 from 5,354. The advance stemmed from a 31-0 victory over Sammamish last week.
