San Fernando Valley Academy can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They blew past Pilgrim 52-27. That's two games straight that San Fernando Valley Academy has won by exactly 25 points.
San Fernando Valley Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Neprix Sisona, who scored 13 points along with four steals and two blocks, and Isaac Herrera, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 16 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Herrera has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jacob Corral, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Summit View entered their tilt with Highland Hall with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Summit View walked away with a 48-40 win over Highland Hall on Thursday.
San Fernando Valley Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Summit View, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
San Fernando Valley Academy beat Summit View 40-31 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Fernando Valley Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
