The Midway Raiders will challenge the Heide Trask Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Midway is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Providence Grove with a sharp 10-3 win. Winning may never get old, but the Raiders sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Kyleigh Stonerock spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on five hits and racked up 12 Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.
On the hitting side, Midway let Ella Clark and Mollie Bass run wild. Clark went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI, while Bass went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. That's the most RBI Bass has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Peyton Herring, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Midway kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in four consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Heide Trask never let their opponents score on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Wallace-Rose Hill as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Titans in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won six in a row.
Not much got past Dava Bullard, who gave up just three hits to keep Wallace-Rose Hill off the board. Bullard has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 16 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Lauren Hall was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalyn Reece-Murray, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.
Midway's victory bumped their record up to 21-1. As for Heide Trask, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Midway has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Heide Trask struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.9 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Midway got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in April of 2017 against Heide Trask by a conclusive 6-0 score. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Titans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
