Softball Recap: North Branch Comes Up Short at Home Against Benilde-St. Margaret's

North Branch unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 7-2 to the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights on Thursday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

North Branch and Benilde-St. Margaret's will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time North Branch sees the field they'll take on Becker at 5:00 p.m. on April 10. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, their break will end when they face Visitation at 4:30 p.m. on April 8.
