Parrish Community entered their tilt with North Fort Myers on Friday with seven consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with eight. They put the hurt on the Red Knights with a sharp 14-3 victory. Considering the Bulls have won eight contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Emmaline Van Beck spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on three hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Parrish Community got a massive performance out of Jersie Rohde, who scored four runs while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave Rohde a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyndal France, who scored three runs while going 4-for-5.

Parrish Community always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North Fort Myers only posted an OBP of .320.

Parrish Community's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for North Fort Myers, they moved to 10-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Parrish Community will face off against Braden River at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12 runs per game on average), something the Bulls will no doubt try to take advantage of. North Fort Myers will be paying especially close attention to Parrish Community's matchup: after Parrish Community faces off against Braden River, they'll take on North Fort Myers again at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
