Andrew Jackson is 9-1 against Central since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Andrew Jackson Volunteers will challenge the Central Eagles at 7:45 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Andrew Jackson comes in on 13 and Central on six.
Last Friday, Andrew Jackson really took it to North Central for the full four quarters, racking up an 88-50 win. The Volunteers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 23 points or more this season.

Bryce Peterson was his usual excellent self, putting up 31 points. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Damias Seegars was another key player, posting 18 points.
Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Central over Buford in every quarter on their way to victory on Friday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Central blew Buford out of the water with a 69-41 final score. The matchup marked the Eagles' most dominant victory of the season.
Central's win came from a few key players Andrew Jackson will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Caden Edmond, who posted 14 points and eight boards. He has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 12 times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrius Myers, who earned 16 points.
Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in 16 consecutive contests.
Andrew Jackson's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.7 points over those games. As for Central, their record now sits at 16-8.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Andrew Jackson and Central are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Andrew Jackson hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 62.4 points per game. However, it's not like Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 62.3 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.
Andrew Jackson was able to grind out a solid victory over Central in their previous meeting back in January, winning 80-69. The rematch might be a little tougher for Andrew Jackson since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
