Walton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grace Walley, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Walley has scored at least 25% of Walton's points. Kennedy Williams was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 7 steals and 5 rebounds.
Deposit-Hancock's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Walton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Deposit-Hancock will head out on the road to face off against Bainbridge-Guilford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Walton, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Stamford Central at 7:00 p.m. on December 4th.
