The Decatur Community Red Devils were handed a three-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against the St. Francis Indians on Tuesday. Everything went Decatur Community's way against St. Francis as Decatur Community made off with a 63-41 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Decatur Community has posted yet this season.
Decatur Community's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Davin Jensen, who scored 12 points along with eight steals and six assists. Jensen is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Jaden Capuzzo was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds.
Decatur Community's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for St. Francis, their loss was their 18th straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-12.
Decatur Community will take on Dighton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Francis, they will head out on the road to face off against Rawlins County at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Rawlins County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Tuesday.
