On Thursday, American Heritage Academy took a serious blow against Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, falling 65-19. American Heritage Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-16.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bradie Xaysana, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Wright, who scored 18 points along with four steals.
American Heritage Academy's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-2. As for Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. American Heritage Academy will take on Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon and Boulder City will face off at 6:30 p.m. on December 4th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Boulder City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon in Nevada (Boulder City is ranked third, while Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon is ranked 54th).
