Basketball Recap: University Prep Academy Extends Winning Streak to Four

Harbor came into Saturday's contest looking for another win against University Prep Academy, but Anthony Hamoud wouldn't allow it. The University Prep Academy Golden Eagles slipped by the Harbor Pirates 47-46 on Saturday thanks in part to Hamoud, who posted 19 points. Those 19 points gave him a new career-high.

The victory was the fourth in a row for University Prep Academy, bringing their record for this year to 9-1. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Harbor, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be Battle of the Birds when the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles challenge the Harker Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harbor, they are taking a road trip to take on Ann Sobrato at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harbor is facing Ann Sobrato at the right time seeing as Ann Sobrato is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
