Plymouth has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against the Milford Mavericks at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Plymouth will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 439th, while Milford is ranked 104th).
Last Thursday, Plymouth ended up a good deal behind Novi and lost 60-44. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Plymouth in their matchups with Novi: they've now lost four in a row.
Meanwhile, Milford scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They secured a 69-63 W over Salem. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Plymouth bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Milford, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
