Football Recap: Pitman Skates Past Mastery with Ease

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pitman). They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 51-18 win over the Mastery Warrior. The victory was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

A big part of Pitman's win came down to the chemistry between Dane Collum and his top target Aidan Upham. Collum threw for 271 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes while Upham gained 241 total yards and three touchdowns. Upham really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 82 yards.

Pitman now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Mastery, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pitman will challenge Lindenwold at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mastery, they will square off against Wildwood on October 4. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.
