Robert Grenga Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Saturday, Ponaganset got the W thanks in part to Robert Grenga playing the best football he has all season. Grenga threw for 119 yards and four touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 43 yards and a touchdown.
The win for Ponaganset keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Grenga and Ponaganset will be playing at home against Rogers at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.

He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception.
Soulliere and Pilgrim will take on Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The match will pit Soulliere up against the Purple's star RB Jordan Duke. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Jerry Pimental Crosses Big Stat Threshold
On Thursday, Mt. Hope got the W thanks in part to Jerry Pimental playing the best football he has all season. Pimental rushed for 203 yards while picking up 10.2 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (117.6) per game. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Mt. Hope pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. They and Stafford/Somers/East Windsor will meet in a canine-themed contest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Performance from Carter Clifton Leads Pilgrim over East Greenwich
Pilgrim was led to victory by Carter Clifton, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Saturday. Clifton threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Clifton and Pilgrim will square off against Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will pit Clifton up against the Purple's star quarterback Parker Howley. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
