The El Dorado Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 12th straight defeat. They took a 68-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of Circle. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (58), El Dorado still had to take the loss.
Defeat or not, El Dorado got some senior leadership from Logan Garner and Trace Fowler. Garner scored 35 points along with eight rebounds and two steals, while Fowler. scored 18 points along with six rebounds. It was the first time this season that Garner pulled down eight or more rebounds.
El Dorado's loss was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Circle, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1-1.
El Dorado will head out on the road to take on the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Circle, they will be playing at home against the Crusaders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
