The Hart 2 Hart Academy Warriors lost against the St. John Lutheran Saints back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Hart 2 Hart Academy fell 41-33 to St. John Lutheran.
Lorenzon Andrews was Hart 2 Hart Academy's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Andrews held things down on the boards with 13 rebounds.
St. John Lutheran's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Cage Patrick led the charge by scoring 16 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryce Disimile, who scored nine points along with two blocks.
Hart 2 Hart Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for St. John Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 3-13.
Hart 2 Hart Academy will be playing at home against Westwood Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Westwood Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday. As for St. John Lutheran, they will head out on the road to take on HEART HomeSchool at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. HEART HomeSchool will be looking to keep their eight-game home win streak alive.
