After two games on the road, Dr. Krop is heading back home. They will take on The Hialeah Thoroughbreds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Dr. Krop scored first but ultimately less than McArthur in their contest on Friday. They took a 15-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs.
Meanwhile, Hialeah entered their tilt with Carol City with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. Hialeah blew past Carol City 42-0 on the road. The result was nothing new for Hialeah, who have now won six matchups by 33 points or more so far this season.
Travis ? T7 ? Delaney Jr ?? was the offensive standout of the matchup as he threw for 271 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes. Another player making a difference was Damarcus Anderson, who picked up 133 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Hialeah's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for 11 sacks. It was a group effort, with three picking up two apiece.
Dr. Krop's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 4-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 7.7 points per game. As for Hialeah, their victory bumped their record up to 8-1.
Dr. Krop didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Hialeah in their previous matchup back in November of 2022, but they still walked away with a 23-18 victory. Will Dr. Krop repeat their success, or does Hialeah have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
