San Mateo walked away with a 17-6 victory over Burlingame on Saturday. This was payback for San Mateo, who suffered a 49-21 defeat the last time these two teams met.
San Mateo's victory was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 27.0 points per game. As for Burlingame, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
San Mateo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Burlingame will head out on the road to face off against Mountain View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Mountain View will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.
