Beamer has been on the road for three straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Kentlake Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Beamer has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 922 points over their last 12 contests.
Even though Kent-Meridian scored an imposing 60 points on Monday, Beamer still came out on top. Beamer walked away with a 70-60 win over Kent-Meridian. The win was just what Beamer needed coming off of a 81-59 loss in their prior game.
Beamer's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ahmed Ismail, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ismail has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Will Tellis, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Kentlake, who are still winless after their 16th match. They were outmatched by Auburn on the road and fell 109-32. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Kentlake in their matchups with Auburn: they've now lost six in a row.
Beamer is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Kentlake, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-16.
Everything came up roses for Beamer against Kentlake in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 as the squad secured a 76-47 win. With Beamer ahead 47-22 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
