Bradley Central is a perfect 9-0 against Howard Tech since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Last Thursday, Bradley Central got the win against East Hamilton by a conclusive 10-1. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won eight games by nine runs or more so far this season.

Bradley Central let Jadon Griffey and Jonathon Alomar run wild. Griffey scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Alomar scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. What's more, Griffey posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March. Another player making a difference was Tyler Cook, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

Bradley Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Howard Tech fell victim to East Nashville Magnet and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They lost 21-0 to the Eagles.

Bradley Central's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Howard Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Bradley Central's way against Howard Tech in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Bradley Central made off with a 20-2 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
