The Creede Miners's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a serious blow against Moffat, falling 62-35. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Creede in their matchups with Moffat: they've now lost five in a row.

Creede struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Moffat pulled down 20 offensive rebounds.

Pesqueira is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Robert Morley was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Creede will take on Sangre de Cristo at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant against one another: Kaiden Smit and Roden. As for Moffat, Moffat and Sierra Grande will face off at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Sierra Grande is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
