The Huntley Red Raiders entered their tilt with the Central Rockets with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Huntley walked away with a 20-10 win over Central on Friday. Given Huntley's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Central is ranked 138th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Huntley's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Central, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
Huntley will look to defend their home field on Friday against Niles West at 7:00 p.m. Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
