Even though the Antelope Rams scored an imposing 58 points on Friday, the North Valley Christian Academy Lions still came out on top. North Valley Christian Academy took down Antelope 72-58. The victory was nothing new for North Valley Christian Academy as they're now sitting on four straight.
Antelope's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenan Ragels, who scored 17 points. Ragels is absolutely dominating the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alizay Figueroa, who scored 15 points.
North Valley Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Antelope, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-3.
North Valley Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against The Gregory School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Gregory School will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Antelope will take on North Phoenix Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Phoenix Preparatory Academy is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.
