The Moravia Blue Devils will challenge the Seton Catholic Central Saints at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Moravia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Carson Andrews was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Andrews was even better at the plate, going 2-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.
In other batting news, Hayden Walker was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Ian Proper, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, Seton Catholic Central might've scored the first runs on Friday, but it was Chenango Valley who claimed the real prize. The Saints fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-3. Saints fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Warriors since Friday.
Max Yaeger made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Rundell, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Seton Catholic Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Moravia, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
Moravia's speedy runners might be the difference in Saturday's matchup. The Blue Devils have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 6.6 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Seton Catholic Central, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Moravia continue to outrun the ball?
