Freeport had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Rutherford on Friday. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 10-3 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Carson Vogler, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Braden Roberts was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Freeport always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rutherford only posted an OBP of .312.
