Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Douglass). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Carlisle Indians 71-16. Given Douglass' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while Carlisle is ranked 1337th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Douglass' victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Carlisle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Douglass will take on Alto at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carlisle, they will host New Summerfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Carlisle is facing New Summerfield at the right time seeing as New Summerfield is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
