The Norview Pilots scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 88-15 win over Granby at home. With that win, Norview brought their scoring average up to 59.2 points per game.
Norview was led to victory by Leyla Minor and Kiyah Fitchett. Minor dropped a triple-double on 22 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals, while Fitchett scored 21 points along with six assists and six steals. The matchup was Minor's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Taylor Christful, who scored 17 points along with three steals.
Norview pushed their record up to 3-1 with that victory, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 52.73 points. As for Granby, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Norview won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Princess Anne at 8:15 p.m. on December 16th. Princess Anne knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven matchups -- so hopefully Norview likes a good challenge. Granby will be home for the holidays to greet Denbigh at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Denbigh is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
