The Beaver Beavers will venture away from home to take on the Parowan Rams at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Beaver is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
Beaver is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Manti just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Templars by a score of 4-2. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Beavers couldn't push the score so high this time.
Beaver got a good showing from KaBella Low, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, Low gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Danzee Bradshaw was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to home runs, as she's now launched at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Challie Marshall, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases.
Meanwhile, Parowan lost 15-3 to Beaver on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Beavers: they've now lost three in a row.
Erika Kelly made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Parowan's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Beaver, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-6.
Parowan's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Beaver has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Parowan, though, as they've been averaging 11.5 hits. Given Beaver's sizable advantage in that area, the Rams will need to find a way to close that gap.
Beaver got the 'W' in their previous matchup on Tuesday against Parowan by a conclusive 15-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Beavers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
