Rocky Mountain Lutheran have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will challenge Hayden on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Both of these teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
Things haven't been easy for Rocky Mountain Lutheran, and their matchup two weeks ago only extended their streak of losses to six. They were completely outmatched, falling 24-60 to South Park. Despite the defeat, Rocky Mountain Lutheran saw an underclassman step up: Sophomore Sam Hahm picked up 158 yards on the ground and threw 1 TD. Hahm was a defensive playmaker as well with a menacing three sacks.
Meanwhile, there's no need to mince words: Hayden lost to West Grand last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 12-64. Hayden were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 12-52.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a loss, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
