Despite the loss, Tri-City Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Fulvio Dos Santos dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 42.4% of Tri-City Christian Academy's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Tri-City Christian Academy's defeat ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 13-1. As for Trinity Christian, they pushed their record up to 17-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-City Christian Academy will face off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
