Big Horn has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Kaycee Buckaroos at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Big Horn will be strutting in after a victory while Kaycee will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Saturday, Big Horn faced Tongue River in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Big Horn managed a 52-46 win over Tongue River.
Big Horn relied on the efforts of Caleb Adsit, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, and Caleb Gibson, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Gibson hasn't dropped below 15points for six straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Heermann, who scored no points along with 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Kaycee's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their sixth straight loss. 2024 welcomed they with a 71-47 loss courtesy of Meeteetse.
Big Horn has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Kaycee, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
Everything went Big Horn's way against Kaycee in their previous matchup back in December of 2018 as Big Horn made off with a 69-44 win. Does Big Horn have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kaycee turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
