Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis). They put the hurt on the Dunkirk Marauders with a sharp 14-1 win on Saturday. The Red Raiders not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 29, 2024 (when they won 19-0).
Ryan Forringer made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season.
In other pitching news, Cam Bush looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
