 Norwalk  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 16  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September of 2023.
 Loss or not, Ashland got some senior leadership from  Allison Ward and  Sydney Endsley.  Ward  had ten  digs, while  Endsley  had ten  digs. Ward has been hot recently, having  posted ten or more  digs the last three times she's  played.
 Norwalk is  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record  this season. As for Ashland, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norwalk is on the road again  on Tuesday to play Columbian at 6:30  p.m. As for Ashland, they will head out to  take on Findlay  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
