 Hattiesburg's success was spearheaded by the efforts of   Haedyn Leverette, who rushed for 84 yards and one  touchdown on only eight carries, and   Gavin Ducksworth, who threw for 150 yards and a pair of  TDs on only ten passes.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask George County). They blew past Jim Hill 30-6 on Friday. The Rebels haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive  victory against them.
 George County's win came from a few key players Hattiesburg will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was  Branden Gautier, who rushed for 131 yards and one  score.  Dj McNair was another key player, gaining 96 total yards and a touchdown.

Friday's   matchup might be decided on the ground. Hattiesburg has been excellent on the ground this season,  having  averaged 164.3  rushing yards per game. However, it's not like George County struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 168.9  rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's   contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
