Given Jefferson Township's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while North Warren Regional is ranked 313th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Cassidy Ball, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Emma Barone was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, High Point got the win against Hopatcong last Friday by a conclusive 50-24. That 26 points margin sets a new team best for High Point this season.
