The Scotia-Glenville Tartans''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss. They took a hard 40-22 fall against Cobleskill-Richmondville. Scotia-Glenville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Cobleskill-Richmondville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2014.
Cobleskill-Richmondville was led to victory by Caleb Hantho and Kyber Henry. Hantho rushed for 109 yards on only six carries, while Henry rushed for 143 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Henry really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run. Nate Kadlic did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 84 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Scotia-Glenville's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-0 Glens Falls and 7-1 Schalmont (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 68% over those games). As for Cobleskill-Richmondville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.
Scotia-Glenville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cobleskill-Richmondville also has no future games currently scheduled.
