They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 55-27 victory over TEACH. That looming 55-27 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Norfolk Christian yet this season.
Norfolk Christian found their leader in underclassman Landon Mcnamara, who scored 18 points along with five steals. Mcnamara is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Jalen Freeman, who scored six points along with ten assists and five rebounds.
Norfolk Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for TEACH, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.
Norfolk Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Norfolk Academy at 6:00 p.m. Norfolk Academy presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Norfolk Christian in Virginia (Norfolk Academy is ranked 104th, while Norfolk Christian is ranked 212th). TEACH's road trip will continue as they head out to face Greenbrier Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
