Basketball Recap: Idalia's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Idalia's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past the Flagler Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 55-40. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their 29-point performance the matchup before.

Idalia found their leader in sophomore Kolby Morris, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Morris has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Tate Towns, who posted eight points.

When it comes to explaining why Flagler lost, don't look at Braden Hill. Despite the final result, he went 8 of 13 en route to 20 points and six boards. That was a full 50% of Flagler's points, marking the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Trevor Moore also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Idalia moved to 5-8 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Flagler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Idalia wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-38 defeat against Arickaree on the 31st. Flagler has also already played their next match, a 68-50 loss against Burlington on the 31st.
