Those  two  RBI gave  Banner a new career-high.  Hunter Cosart was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Cory-Rawson  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Ada only posted  an  OBP of  .250.
The  victory  got Cory-Rawson back to even at 1-1. As for Ada,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 Coincidentally, Cory-Rawson and Ada will both be playing Upper Scioto Valley the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Rams at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday, while the Fighting Hornets will head out to face them  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday.
